Let's Take the Same Off, For Good

The Small Habit That Changes Cravings

Reader,

A week has passed since we talked about holiday cravings, and I want to gently return to one simple truth:

Your cravings are not a verdict.
They are feedback.

Most women have been taught to interpret cravings as failure. But in reality, they’re one of the clearest forms of communication your body gives you.

Cravings usually point to:
• Blood sugar instability
• Sleep and circadian disruption
• Missed protein or minerals
• Nervous system overload

None of those mean you lack self-control.

They just mean your rhythms need support.

This week in our Seasons in the Orchard membership community, we have been deep diving into ways to recognize what our cravings are trying to tell us and how to respond to them with grace as we give our bodies everything they need and nothing they don't. And I'll let you in on a little secret; there is no shame involved as we learn to identify these messages from our bodies. We answer them with grace.

Grace isn’t just spiritual—it’s physiological too. Your body responds to gentleness far better than force.

If you haven’t yet read (or revisited) this blog, I walk you through exactly how to interpret cravings without shame—and what to do when they show up.

Let this week be about listening instead of battling. Next week I'll share with you how you can answer your cravings with wisdom and grace. Stay tuned!

With you,
💕 Coach AJ
